Baseball Game Preview: Denver Cyclones vs. East Marshall Mustangs

Denver is a perfect 4-0 against East Marshall since July of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Cyclones will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Denver didn't have quite enough to beat South Hardin and fell 7-6.

Meanwhile, East Marshall got the win against Gladbrook-Reinbeck on Tuesday by a conclusive 11-1. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

East Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Denver, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Everything went Denver's way against East Marshall in their previous matchup back in June of 2024, as Denver made off with a 21-3 win. Will the Cyclones repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
