Baseball Recap: Desert Mountain Falls Short of Notre Dame Prep in the Playoffs

Desert Mountain and Notre Dame Prep squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Desert Mountain had to settle for second. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Desert Mountain saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roman Carrington, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Desert Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Notre Dame Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Desert Mountain nor Notre Dame Prep have any future games scheduled.
