There's no place like home for Indian Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 60-34 margin over Gerstell Academy on Wednesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

Gerstell Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Kiara Hardy and Caitlin Carver. Hardy went 7 for 16 on her way to 17 points and seven rebounds, while Carver posted seven points. That was a full 50% of Gerstell Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Cambrie Franks also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Indian Creek has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Gerstell Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will head out to challenge John Carroll at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. John Carroll will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Indian Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gerstell Academy, they will head out on the road to take on St. John's Catholic Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
