            Softball Recap: Palm Beach Central Broncos vs. Centennial Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palm Beach Central can now relate to. They fell just short of the Centennial Eagles by a score of  2-1 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by  just one  run.
 Palm Beach Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Logan Elkins, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
This is the second loss in a row for Palm Beach Central and  nudges their season record down to 13-7. Even worse, they were so close both times: the  defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Centennial, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record  this season.
 Palm Beach Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centennial, they will face off against Wellington at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
