Football Recap: Orangewood Christian Piles Up the Points Against Lake Mary Prep

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Orangewood Christian on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Lake Mary Prep Griffins out of the water with a 39-0 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Rams had established a 33 point advantage.

Orangewood Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Paige McClarnon out in front who rushed for 58 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one touchdown. Avery McDonald was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one touchdown.

The win made it two in a row for Orangewood Christian and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.5 points. As for Lake Mary Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
