Basketball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Green Bobcats 60-25. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 693rd, while the Bobcats are ranked 245th).

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Green, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manchester will venture away from home to challenge Western at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Green, they are taking a road trip to take on Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
