Soccer Recap: Blair Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elkhorn on Monday, Blair came back down to earth. The Bears lost 4-0 to the Gretna East Griffins on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Gretna East this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 last Monday.

Blair's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Gretna East, the win keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Looking ahead, Blair will head out to square off against Elkhorn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gretna East, they will host Northwest at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gretna East are on a seven-game streak of home wins, Northwest a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
