Volleyball Recap: Huron Takes a Loss

Huron lost against Lincoln back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 24-26, 25-13.

Julia Blom had an outrageously good game for Lincoln as she had 26 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Blom has posted since back in August. Evy Carney was another key player, getting five kills, three digs, two aces, and one block.

Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Huron will head out to take on Pierre T.F. Riggs on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Jefferson on the 4th.
