Robert Lee Delivers Best Effort of Season
West Chicago was led to victory by Robert Lee, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Lee rushed for 301 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
If the past is any indication, Lee could be in store for another big game when he takes on Fenton on Thursday. Lee rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Bison duked it out back in September of 2023.

Melendez Came Up Big in Ridgewood's 28-27 Defeat
Ridgewood was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Luke Melendez did his best to prevent it. Melendez was dynamite, picking up 127 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 79 yards.
If the past is any indication, Melendez could be in store for another big game when he takes on Elmwood Park on Friday. When Melendez last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
