Basketball Game Preview: Brainerd Warriors vs. Elk River Elks + Official Tickets

Brainerd is 1-6 against Elk River since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Elks at 1:00 p.m. Brainerd has given up an average of 52.9 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Brainerd was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Bemidji.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Elk River against Robbinsdale Armstrong on Tuesday as the team secured a 76-41 victory. That 35-point margin sets a new team best for the Elks this season.

Elk River is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Brainerd, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
