Basketball Recap: Kinston Takes a Loss

Kinston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 68-43 to the Florala Wildcats. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-18.

It was another big night for Rayshon Coleman, who went 9 for 11 on his way to 21 points for Florala. Coleman is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dalton Jackson, who went 6 of 9 en route to 17 points.

Kinston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Florala, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pleasant Home the next time they take the court. Kinston will head out to face Pleasant Home on Tuesday, while Florala will host them at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
