Volleyball Recap: Logan's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Logan had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Mountain Crest Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Logan didn't let Mountain Crest take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-23.

Logan's offense was headlined by Zack Merrill and Aidan Kent, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Josh Merrill and his 30 assists. Zack was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Logan's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Mountain Crest, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Logan has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Ridgeline on the 15th. As for Mountain Crest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Bear River on the 17th.
