Volleyball Recap: Shade Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Shade had taken Windber down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ramblers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ramblers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 24-26, 25-18, 25-19.

Alana Deneen paced Shade's offense, picking up 11 kills. Deneen got some help from Lowen Mincek and her 26 assists. Finally, Kennedy Landis kept Shade's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Shade's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Windber, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Shade has already played their next match (against Turkeyfoot Valley Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Windber, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Rockwood on the 4th.
