Volleyball Recap: Apollo Comes Up Short

Apollo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Upsala Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Apollo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Upsala, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-12.

Apollo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Little Falls on the 29th. As for Upsala, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cass Lake-Bena on the 27th.
