Softball Recap: UME Preparatory Academy Takes a Loss

UME Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Sunnyvale, falling 11-2. That's two games in a row now that the EAGLES have lost by exactly nine runs.

UME Preparatory Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenevive Fleming, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That RBI was Fleming's first of the season.

UME Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Sunnyvale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

UME Preparatory Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 defeat against Arlington Heights on the 15th. As for Sunnyvale, they will take on North Mesquite in a tournament on Saturday.
