Basketball Recap: Riverdale Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Fennimore Golden Eagles, falling 65-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Chieftains have suffered against the Golden Eagles since February 11, 2022.

Riverdale's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Fennimore, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-11.

Riverdale will challenge Cuba City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cuba City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Riverdale likes a good challenge. As for Fennimore, they will head out to take on Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fennimore has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three matches.
