Football Game Preview: Jefferson Saints vs. The Pinnacle Timberwolves + How To Watch

The Jefferson Saints will challenge The Pinnacle Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Jefferson played against Denver West two weeks ago and lost via forfeit.

The Pinnacle had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but Prospect Ridge Academy put an end to it on Friday. The Timberwolves fell 21-8 to the Miners. The Timberwolves gained 131 more yards on the day, but it was the Miners that made the best use of them.

Jefferson will have to keep a close watch on Aj Duran and Caleb Arellano, a pair of players who had a big impact on The Pinnacle's prior game. Duran gained 170 total yards, while Arellano picked up 86 receiving yards and one touchdown. An impressive showing, but Duran really ramped things up playing D: he forced one fumble, made 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss), and defended three passes.

With the loss, The Pinnacle broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Jefferson beat The Pinnacle 32-19 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Do the Saints have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Timberwolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
