Soccer Recap: Sylacauga Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sylacauga can now relate to. They fell just short of the Montevallo Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Sylacauga have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Jackson Carter, who's now up to four this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Sylacauga and nudges their season record down to 15-6. As for Montevallo, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-3-2.

As of now, neither Sylacauga nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
