Volleyball Recap: Okemos Wolves vs. Lakeland Eagles
Okemos faced Lakeland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wolves fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Erik Howe paced Okemos' offense, picking up three kills. Howe got some help from Gavin Freidhoff and his four assists. Finally, Daniel Wesley kept Okemos' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
