Righetti had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Santa Maria Saints 56-0. The Warriors have beaten the Saints the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Saints has come to flipping the script.

Nicholas Matautia was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 246 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 49 yards and one TD. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Miller, who gained 79 total yards and two touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Righetti will host Nipomo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Maria, they will head out to square off against Hoover at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
