Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Comes Up Short

Hillsdale lost against Dalton back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hillsdale Falcons were beaten by the Dalton Bulldogs 59-21. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 583rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 230th).

Hillsdale dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dalton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsdale will venture away from home to face off against Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dalton, they are taking a road trip to take on Chippewa at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th.
