Softball Recap: Argenta-Oreana Takes a Loss

Argenta-Oreana suffered their closest defeat since April 15th on Saturday. They fell just short of the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans by a score of 6-4. The loss continues a trend for the Bombers in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost three in a row.

Argenta-Oreana's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11-1. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-11.

Coincidentally, Argenta-Oreana and St. Joseph-Ogden will both be playing Bishop McNamara the next time they take the field. The Bombers will head out to face the Fightin' Irish at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
