Basketball Recap: New Life Academy Takes a Loss

New Life Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt an 80-43 defeat at the hands of the Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 84-48 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

New Life Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

New Life Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hope Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Simley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
