Baseball Recap: Lancaster Catholic Find Success

Lancaster Catholic never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wyomissing Spartans, sneaking past 1-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Ty George, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

The win got Lancaster Catholic back to even at 9-9. As for Wyomissing, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.

Looking ahead, Lancaster Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Middletown at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Wyomissing, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-7 victory against Twin Valley on the 8th.
