Basketball Recap: Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood Comes Up Short on the Road Against Corliss

Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corliss Trojans.

The victory (which was Corliss' third in a row) raised their record to 3-5.

Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harlan at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Corliss, they will venture away from home to face off against Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woodlawn will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Corliss surely won't give up without a fight.
