Baseball Recap: Maynard Takes a Loss

After flying high against Littleton on Monday, Maynard came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 5-1 to the Lunenburg Blue Knights on Wednesday. The Tigers have struggled against the Blue Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Maynard saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was W. Molloy, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Maynard's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Lunenburg, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Maynard will host Tahanto Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lunenburg, they will head out to take on North Middlesex Regional at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
