Baseball Recap: Cedaredge Wins Going Away Against Olathe

While Cedaredge put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Olathe. The Bruins blew past the Pirates 10-0. Considering the Bruins have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Olathe's batters probably weren't too happy with Colten Hutto, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (he gave up a single walk). Hutto has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Rylan Brooks was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Cedaredge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

Cedaredge's record is now 17-3. As for Olathe, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedaredge will host Dolores at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Olathe, they will be playing at home against Meeker at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
