Softball Recap: McCurdy Comes Up Short

McCurdy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pecos Panthers, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bobcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

McCurdy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryah Romero, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple.

McCurdy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

While they had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
