Volleyball Game Preview: Cedar Reds vs. Payson Lions

The Cedar Reds will be taking part in a tournament against the Payson Lions at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cedar has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with seven straight defeats, while Payson will come in with five straight victories.

Cedar's tournament run continued when they took on Morgan on Friday. Cedar took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Morgan.

Meanwhile, Payson was able to grind out a solid win over American Heritage on Friday, taking the game 2-0.

Cedar's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Payson, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Cedar might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Payson in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can Cedar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
