Soccer Game Preview: Lakeridge vs. Tigard + How To Watch

Lakeridge is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will venture away from home to take on the Tigard Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lakeridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oregon's top teams: Forest Grove, who was ranked tenth at the time (Lakeridge was ranked second). The Pacers and the Vikings finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Tigard kept a clean sheet against Sherwood on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Bowmen 1-0.

Lakeridge's draw gives them a new season record of 7-0-2. As for Tigard, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1-2.

Lakeridge took their win against Tigard when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pacers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
