Volleyball Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Midland Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 6th.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Midland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Monticello has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Marquette on the 27th. As for Midland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Easton Valley on the 30th.
