Softball Preview: Canyon Ridge Riverhawks vs. Wood River Wolverines

The Canyon Ridge Riverhawks will stay at home for another game and welcome the Wood River Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Canyon Ridge scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 18-3 margin over Minico. The victory was just what Canyon Ridge needed coming off of a 14-8 defeat in their prior matchup.

Tylee Heider was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (she also only allowed one walk). Heider was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
