Murray strolled into their game on Saturday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats an 8-0 shutout. Considering Murray have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Franklin-Simpson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Henri Acreman-Nyamwala led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Murray's victory bumped their record up to 8-0-1. As for Franklin-Simpson, they moved to 8-4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Murray will take on Bardstown at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Franklin-Simpson, they will venture away from home to square off against Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
