Softball Game Preview: Creswell Bulldogs vs. Sisters Outlaws

Creswell has gone a perfect 4-0 against Sisters recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Outlaws at 2:00 p.m. Creswell has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Creswell fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against La Pine on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 18-17.

Meanwhile, Sisters came up short against Elmira on Tuesday, falling 20-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Outlaws in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

Creswell has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Sisters, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Creswell took their victory against Sisters when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-2 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Outlaws have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
