Soccer Recap: West Central Starts Season with Victory at Home

West Central took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Douglas/Rapid City Christian Patriot Comets 2-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Douglas/Rapid City Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, West Central will challenge Vermillion at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Douglas/Rapid City Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
