Football Game Preview: Somerville Yeguas vs. Iola Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Somerville Yeguas will square off against the Iola Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Somerville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped last Friday as they easily beat Snook 55-0. The Yeguas haven't had any issues with the Bluejays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Somerville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ja'Keith Daniels led the charge by rushing for 98 yards and three TDs on only eight carries, while also picking up 131 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Daniels a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Andrew Espinoza, who threw for 240 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Iola, who bounced back after a loss on the road on September 12th. They breezed past Milano to the tune of 53-6 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Somerville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Iola, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
