Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ayden - Grifton). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Greene Central Rams a 14-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Ayden - Grifton let Raelyn Jones and Aaliyah Williams run wild. Jones went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Williams scored three runs while going 3-for-4. What's more, Williams posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Chloe Williams also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Ayden - Grifton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Ayden - Grifton's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Greene Central, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.
