Basketball Recap: Shawano Community Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West De Pere, Shawano Community was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the New London Bulldogs by a score of 68-61. This was a revenge game for the Hawks: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in January, they had to take a 59-56 defeat.

Shawano Community's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for New London, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Shawano Community will be playing at home against Green Bay West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shawano Community is facing Green Bay West at the right time seeing as Green Bay West is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for New London, they will head out on the road to face off against Green Bay East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New London knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Green Bay East likes a good challenge.
