Basketball Game Preview: West Seneca West Warhawks vs. Iroquois Redhawks

West Seneca West is 0-3 against Iroquois since February of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The West Seneca West Warhawks just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Iroquois Redhawks at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

West Seneca West took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They secured a 57-52 W over Sacred Heart Academy.

Meanwhile, Iroquois waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Trojans 63-36. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-10.

West Seneca West's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Iroquois, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

West Seneca West came up short against Iroquois in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 74-68. Can West Seneca West avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
