Softball Recap: Sherando Warriors vs. Kettle Run Cougars
Sherando won against Strasburg last Thursday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Sherando beat the Kettle Run Cougars by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-4. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Lilian Wray made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other pitching news, Jessie Kaiser looked comfortable as she pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, Sherando got a massive performance out of Kayla Grum, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Grum also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Elleana Shutts was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Sherando's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3.
