Volleyball Recap: Central Christian Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central Christian Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Southport Cardinals on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southport was led to victory by Nawl Thang and Daniel Ding Sa. Thang had ten assists and seven digs, while Ding Sa had seven digs and two assists.

Central Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southport, their win bumped their record up to 17-14.

Central Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southport, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Perry Meridian on the 17th.
