Softball Preview: Hialeah Thoroughbreds vs. American Patriots
Hialeah is 0-10 against American since April of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Hialeah Thoroughbreds are taking a road trip to take on the American Patriots at 3:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
While Thoroughbreds fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They never let Coral Gables onto the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The Thoroughbreds haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Meanwhile, American made easy work of Goleman on Saturday and carried off a 15-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

What's more, Armas also posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Jaidy Sanchez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
