While Maranatha Christian's victory against Classical Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles skirted past the Caimans 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since May 18, 2024.

Kennedy Arango was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Shanelle Boehm also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Maranatha Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Maranatha Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

As of now, neither Maranatha Christian nor the Caimans have any future games scheduled.
