Basketball Recap: Defiance Comes Up Short

If Defiance was riding high fresh off their 52-12 takedown of Swanton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Defiance Bulldogs had to suffer through a 60-32 loss at the hands of the Elida Bulldogs. Defiance hasn't had much luck with Elida recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Defiance's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Elida, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-9 record.

Defiance has already played their next matchup (against Bath), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Elida will look to defend their home court on February 6th against Wapakoneta at 7:30 p.m.
