Volleyball Recap: Calumet Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Homeschool Resource Center

Calumet Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to HomeSchool Resource Center on Tuesday. While Calumet Christian didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating HomeSchool Resource Center 25-20 in the first set.

Calumet Christian came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 27-25, 25-22, 25-23.

HomeSchool Resource Center's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calumet Christian will square off against DeMotte Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, they will challenge Kankakee Trinity Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
