Baseball Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

Danbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hand Tigers.

Brian Guerrero was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Danbury's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hand, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Danbury will face off against Trumbull at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hand, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairfield Prep at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
