Bedford extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 4-1 in the process. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Ursula Academy Arrows, sneaking past 7-5. While the Kicking Mules didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

As for St. Ursula Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since April 3rd.

For St. Ursula Academy's part, Addison Witek was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Sydney Hoffman, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Bedford will be playing at home against Pioneer at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Ursula Academy, they will take on Divine Child at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
