It was a good run, but West Boca Raton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars by a score of 3-2. The Bulls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While West Boca Raton ultimately came up short, they really made Dreyfoos School of the Arts work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 26-24, 21-25, 28-30, 15-12.

Hailey Ferwerda paced West Boca Raton's offense, picking up 18 kills. Ferwerda got some help from Chloe Khoury and her 41 assists.

Liv Wittmann went supernova For Dreyfoos School of the Arts., getting 15 digs and four aces. Noa Nison was another key player, getting nine digs and one assist.

West Boca Raton now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

West Boca Raton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Boca Raton Christian on the 16th. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Royal Palm Beach on the 15th.
