Preview: White House Blue Devils vs. Trousdale County Yellowjackets
The White House Blue Devils will be home for the holidays to greet the Trousdale County Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. White House knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Trousdale County likes a good challenge.
Even though White House has not done well against White House-Heritage recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. White House strolled past White House-Heritage with points to spare, taking the game 56-39.
Louis Taylor and Dawson Carson were among the main playmakers for White House as the former dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds and the latter scored 12 points. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Bryce Hill, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Trousdale County came up short against Jackson County on Friday and fell 62-54. Trousdale County has struggled against Jackson County recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
White House's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Trousdale County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
