Softball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale managed to slip by Heritage Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Glendale came up short against Heritage Christian on Thursday, falling 17-0. The Nitros just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Glendale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jade Marquez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Heritage Christian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

After both having extra time off, Glendale and Arcadia will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:45 p.m. on April 1. The contest will give Glendale their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Heritage Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-1 win against Taft on the 24th.
